Day 1 Travel to Apt
Meet a tour representative upon arrival at the airport in Marseilles. From here, you’ll travel to Apt, where you’ll check into your hotel. Your arrival time will determine if you’ll embark on your first walk of this tour! If you make it in good time, you’ll get to enjoy a walk around the soaring red and yellow rock formations spanning Rustrel Colorado. Enjoy a delicious dinner at your hotel in the evening!

Day 2 Grand Luberon Loop
Enjoy a delicious breakfast before walking a lovely loop that takes you to views of South Provence and the Mediterranean Sea! Consume a tasty dinner when you’re back.

Day 4 Hike near Lacoste
Encounter another blend of history and pleasant scenery on today’s hiking adventure. You will begin your ascent near Lacoste by climbing up the Petit Luberon. Once you reach the road—Foret de Cedres—you’ll wind down a canyon and arrive at the 13th-century L’Abbaye St. Hilaire. Admire the views of the jagged Sancte Victoire Mountain from here.

Day 5 Visit Oppedette and Vacheres
Discover an array of scenery today! Visit the small commune of Oppedette, where rocky buildings sit on the hillside. And admire the similar-looking stony architecture spanning Vacheres. You’ll also encounter the Saut du Moine waterfall, chain of the Alps, and a beautiful view of Luberon.

Day 6 Hike to Mourre Negre/Murs
You can choose from two hiking options for today’s adventure. If you have more energy, you can go with option one, which will take you to Mourre Negre—the summit of Luberon—from Cabrières-d’Aigues. Or if you’re craving a more leisurely hike, you can do option two, which will unveil the valley behind Murs’ quaint village and a fantastic view of Luberon Regional Nature Park!

Day 7 Hike the Petit Luberon
Before you hike the Petit Luberon, enjoy a visit to Sainte Cécile garden in Oppede le Vieux, a charming town built on narrow streets and filled with medieval ruins.

Day 8 Walk from Lumière Goult
Enjoy your final day of walking before you head back to Marseilles. Begin your hike from Lumière Goult and discover how farmers from a long time ago cultivated almond and olive trees at the Conservatory of Terraces of Culture of Goult. You will also visit the Moulin de Jerusalem on today’s walk! Transfer to Marseilles airport after this expedition.
