Day 1 Arrival
Your tour begins in beautiful Mont-Dol, a colourful village perched on the Breton coast. Settle into your accommodations here and set out on a stroll to acquaint yourself with this lovely coastal village. For breathtaking views of the surrounding rolling hills, take a walk to the top of Mont-Dol.

Day 2 Loop to Mont-Saint-Michel
Fuel up on hot coffee and croissants baked with freshly-churned local Breton butter this morning, then hop in the saddle for your first day of riding! Set out on a picturesque route through the rolling hinterland, arriving in the tiny village of Pontorson.
Then a pleasant flat track will lead you to the ancient pilgrimage site of Le Mont-Saint-Michel. Explore the site’s impressive abbey, perched on a rock that juts up from the sea.
Later, you’ll pedal via the Digue de la Duchesse Anne on a flat stretch of trail, passing a scenic bay before continuing the loop inland back to your starting point in Mont-Dal.

Day 3 Pedal the Bay of Saint-Michel
Setting out for Saint-Malo this morning, you’ll enjoy a beautiful ride along the Bay of Saint-Michel, a cool sea breeze joining you the entire way. Pass through the pretty fishing village of Cancale, known for its incredible oysters. Scope out a spot for lunch and eat your fill!
Depart Cancale and work off that lunch with a smooth sail along the coast to the lively port of Saint-Malo.

Day 4 Explore Saint-Malo or Trip to Jersey Island
Today you’ll have the option to spend your time perusing the historic town of Saint-Malo, home to a fortress, several ports, and gorgeous stretches of beach. However, if you feel like setting sail today instead, catch an early morning ferry to the British island of Jersey, where you’ll enjoy an extensive network of tracks connecting the island.
If you’re struggling to decide how to spend the day, why not book an extra night in Saint-Malo allowing you to do both!

Day 5 Ferry to Dinard
Set sail this morning as you wave farewell to Saint-Malo and make your way to the fashionable Dinard. A destination of choice for the rich and famous, Dinard boasts pristine stretches of beach and a balmy climate, making it an ideal location for a summer getaway. You’ll ditch the glitz and glam of the town’s center and instead head for the peaceful countryside, where you’ll pedal blooming hills through several idyllic villages until you reach Taden Castle. After stopping to take in the medieval site, continue along the Rance to the lovely port of Dinan.
Settle into your accommodations and set out on a stroll to soak in the ambience of Dinan’s charming historic center.

Day 6 Loop Via Canal d’Ille et Rance
You can easily spend an entire day getting lost in Dinan. The lovely town is home to several galleries, shops, and restaurants. You can also enjoy people watching from several of the town’s beautiful terraces.
If the peaceful green countryside is your kind of ride, you’ll delight in this afternoon’s route. Set out for the Breton hills just south of Dinan. Here, you’ll whiz by unique farmhouses built of dark granite and fragrant fields of blue hydrangeas in bloom. Then you’ll trace the Canal d’Ille and Rance, savouring a quiet ride through small villages as you return to Dinard.

Day 7 Ride to Mont-Dol
Today you’ll come full circle as your route leads back to Mont-Dol. You’ll set out to retrace the Rance this morning, stealing some final views of the picturesque canal before you continue through undulating farmland. Stop to appreciate the beautiful Dol Cathedral on your way, a Roman Catholic Church dedicated to Saint Sampson, and an ancient site steeped in myths.
Continue the route that will have you sailing into Mont-Dol, well in time to freshen up and get ready a farewell dinner where you can feast on seafood to your heart’s content!
