Day 2 Favaritx Lighthouse and Es Grau
In the morning, transfer to the lighthouse of Favaritx. Today’s itinerary crosses the Nature Reserve of Albufera des Grau. The walk starts in the lunar landscape of Cape Favaritx, with spectacular views over the rugged coast and unspoilt coves. The path leads to the beach of Tortuga, a perfect spot for a swim. From the beach of Tortuga the path turns inland and through the Menorcan countryside where typical drywall constructions are in perfect harmony with the rolling green fields. At the cove of Sa Torreta, the prystine sandy beach and surrounding dunes are a favourite spot of many migratory birds. The path now follows the canal until you reach the beach of Sa Mesquida. Transfer from Sa Mesquida to Mao, to avoid the last 4 km of asphalt.
Overnight Location: Hotel in Mahón
Distance: 8km or 18km
Meals: Breakfast
Day 3 Son Bou Beach and Sant Tomàs
Begin today’s adventure with a ride to Cala en Porter. You’ll be walking to Son Bou Beach, the largest beach on Menorca (and the perfect endpoint after a day of walking!). Enjoy walking through orchards, stop at the Ses Canessies lagoon, and explore a paleo-Christian basilica just off the path.
Once you make it to the beach, enjoy the sand and water as long as you please before ending the day in Sant Tomàs.

Day 4 Caves of Es Coloms and Cala Galdana
You’ll cross several important ravines today, walking along the beach of Sant Tomàs to get to Binigaus Beach. Here you’ll begin to cross ravines with farmland and crops in between. Arrive at the beautiful Cala Mitjana, enjoying the bright blue water and welcoming sand.
Head onwards to Cala Galdana, where several caves and grottos can be explored. This is where you’ll spend the night.
Overnight Location: Hotel in Cala Galdana
Distance: 12km

Day 5 Son Saura Beach
Today will be one of the most impressive days of your tour, so rise early and take your time enjoying each step along the way. You’ll walk to Cala Macarella, rich with sea life. Trek through olive groves and juniper trees to the dunes of Cala en Turqueta. This cove is absolutely pristine, with turquoise waters leading to a white sand beach. Spend as much time here as you like!
Hike past ravines and streams, arriving in Son Saura. Here, you’ll be picked up and taken to Ciutadella.
Overnight Location: Hotel in Ciutadella

Day 6 Rocky Shores to Port Fornells
You’ll be walking along the rocky coastline today, watching sheep graze and birds of prey swoop overhead. There’s also a necropolis just off the path you can explore. Continue through a coastal forest area full of animals, watching to see what species you can spot.
End your walk at Els Alocs Beach. You’ll be driven to Port Fornells for the evening.

Day 7 Loop Walk from Port Fornells
Today you’ll be walking through one of the best-preserved natural regions on Menorca, starting at Binimel la Beach. Cross the sand dunes to Cala Mica Beach, one of many great beaches you’ll discover today. Pass a basilica from the 6th century on your way back to Port Fornells.
Make the most of your last evening here, enjoying Spanish cuisine and watching the sunset.
