Wine and Adventure in Argentina itinerary
Day 1 Meeting in Mendoza and Horseback Riding
Your wine and adventure tour in Argentina begins in Mendoza, where you’ll be met at the airport and taken to your hotel (please arrive before midday). You’ll have an excursion on horseback today, crossing through incredibly beautiful natural areas. You’ll ride near the famous vineyards that surround the city.
A hot Creole dinner will be waiting for you when you return to the city.
Overnight Location: Hotel in Mendoza
Distance: 1.5 hours of horseback riding

Day 2 Aconcagua Peak and Hike to Horcones Lagoon
Leave in the morning to experience the tallest mountain in the Americas, Aconcagua (6,961m, 22,838ft). You’ll enter the park that holds the mountain and begin hiking towards the Horcones Lagoon. After resting for a while at the lagoon, you’ll reach the hanging bridge over the Horcones River. Arrive at Confluencia Camp (3,400m, 11,154ft) where you’ll eat lunch with an impressive view of the tallest mountain in both the Western and Southern hemispheres. Take plenty of photos!
Note: This hike only operates on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, from November to March. If tour is taking place from April to October, this activity will be replaced with Traditional Hight Mountain Tour.
Return to Mendoza after a thrilling day.

Day 3 Vineyards and Tastings
After a big hike yesterday, it’s time to treat yourself. Take a bike-based tour to the Nieto Senetiner and Vistalba wineries, learning about their winemaking process and tasting their product, including the well-known Argentinian Malbec. These vineyards are renowned in the region and a real treat for fans of Argentinian wine (or wine in general)!
Important note: The regular bike tour operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
End the tour at Bodega Kalken, where you’ll enjoy lunch with carefully selected pairings.

Day 4 The Uco Valley
Yesterday was just a taste- pun intended- of the exceptional wine culture of Argentina. Today, you’ll be visiting the Salentein Winery first, then onto the Killka Space, a gallery and shop filled with art from Argentinian artists and craftspeople. Then, continue to Domaine Busquet, a winery characterized by high-quality organic grapes. See if you can taste the changes in the wine affected by the grapes being grown at altitudes of up to 1,500 metres.
Important note: The regular Uco Valley Experience operates on Thursdays and Sundays. Salentein Winery and Espacio Killka close on Mondays.
Lunch will be served in Andeluna before transfer to a lodge in the area for the night.

Day 5 Tour Concludes
Spend the morning enjoying the activities offered by the hotel before being transferred back to Mendoza for your outward flight. We recommend you to book your flight for departure after 4pm to get the most out of your last day. Adios!

The tour ends in Mendoza, where you will be taken to the airport to depart. It is recommended that you book an afternoon departure to allow for ample leisure and travel time on the last day of your tour.

The best time to visit Argentina for this tour is between December and February when the weather is at its warmest. Note that the trek near Aconcagua can only be run from November to March, and outside of these times, a traditional high mountain tour will replace it. If you’re very keen to see Aconcagua, consider travelling in December or January when the weather around the mountain is at its best.
