Day 1 Arrival in Bad Dürkheim
After arriving in Bad Dürkheim, you will meet up for a welcome briefing and bike fitting. Afterwards, you can spend the evening enjoying the marvellous views overlooking the vines and the town.

Day 2 Cycle Through Vineyards to Landau
The first day of cycling on the tour will take you on a route through charming wine-growing towns and the surrounding vineyards. Picture-perfect Sankt Martin and Edenkoben – former summer residences of the Bavarian kings – will be seen along the way. This romantic cycling route will continue on, eventually leading to the former French fortress Landau.

Day 3 Bike the Rhine Cycle Path to Speyer
Today the Queichtal cycle path will lead you from Landau through shaded forests all the way to Germersheim, where you can view the impressive walls of the former fortress. Following the well-developed Rhine cycle path into the imperial town of Speyer, you will be able to witness the striking beauty of its UNESCO-World Cultural Heritage Site cathedral.

Day 4 The Historic City of Heidelberg
Today will be a shorter leg of the tour, leaving you with plenty of time for the various cultural highlights located en route. A visit to the famous palace and gardens in Schwetzingen is always recommended, and further along the route the striking palace complex of Heidelberg will be visible from afar. Eventually you will cycle into the unique old part of town that is located directly at the Neckar riverside.

Day 5 Cycle to the Imperial City of Worms
On day 5 of the tour you will follow the River Neckar as far as Ladenburg, where the many half-timber houses create an exceptional ambience. Continuing on through extensive wooded areas in the Rhine Valley, you will follow the route all the way into the old imperial city of Worms with its amazing cathedral.

Day 6 Wine Tasting and Return to Bad Dürkheim
The final day of cycling on your tour will take you from the Rhine Valley to the second-largest German wine-growing area. Experience wine culture in the small and large wine-growing communities that have a rich history dating all the way back to Roman times. Finally, you will sample some excellent Palatine wine in the renowned vineyard estate “Weingut Fitz Ritter”.
