8-Day Roadtrip from Lima to Cusco Tour Itinerary
Day 1 The Adventure Begins in Lima
Regardless of which route you opt for, today your adventure kicks off in Lima where you’ll meet at 9 am this morning at the rental center where you’ll be briefed by the local team and get to know your RV and supplies. Then it’s time to hit the open road for Paracas!
Overnight Location: Camping at Scallop farm at National Reserve of Paracas
Distance: 3 hours, 256 km
Day 2 Experience Paracas
A world of adventure awaits you today! Check out the Supay Observatory, Otuma Salt Lake, Yumaque Beach, Caleta (cove) Lagunilla Viewpoint and more! A long list of options are yours to discover as you explore Paracas on your first full day adventure.

Day 3 Drive to Nazca
Before leaving Paracas this morning, you can open in for a thrilling dune buggy adventure or sandboarding in Adrenarena Sand Park.
Hit the road with your first stop at Tacama Wineyard as you continue to Nazca. Tonight you can camp at Casa Hacienda in Nazca.

Distance: 3 hours 30 minutes, 221 km
Day 4 Press on to the Yaca Campsite
A lengthy but beautiful drive awaits you today as you hit the road for Yaca where you’ll camp for the evening.

Distance: 8 hours, 427 km
Day 5 Rafting and NGO
Today you can opt for a thrilling white water rafting adventure organized by the campsite owner Ricardo. Later, head to Casa Lena, a beautiful spot in the mountains of Curahuasi. Here you’ll find the an educational project for children living in poverty and children with disabilities known as the NGO Oye LENA. Learn about the incredible initiatives of this NGO before heading to Curahuasi Campsite.

Day 6 The Sacred Valley
On your way to the sacred valley today, stop at Chonta Community, Huaypo Lagoo and or the Maras Salt Mines. You can continue further to visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, where you can learn about the technique with which the Incas worked the stones!
Tonight you’ll camp at Urubamba Sacred Valley of the Incas Campsite.

Distance: 2 hours 45 minutes, 131 km
Day 7 Machu Picchu
Today you’ll leave the RV in a safe spot and head to the train station for the train to Ollantaytambo. Book a full day tour of Machu Picchu where seize the day to take in one of the wonders of the world!
Return to your camper this evening with final overnight at Urubamba Sacred Valley of the Incas Campsite.

Day 8 Final Drive to Cusco
Set out on your final drive to Cusco this morning with a visit to Pisac archaeological complex along the way. Once in Cusco, return your RV to the local team awaiting you and continue with your onwards travels.
