Day 1 Arrival in Pisa
Welcome to Pisa! Drop your bags and then take an evening stroll through the city. Pastel houses and beautiful churches line the streets, and many great restaurants beckon you in for a Tuscan dinner and a glass of Chianti wine. Take a final walk down the banks of the Arno River before resting up for tomorrow’s ride.

Day 2 Bike to Lucca
The first adventure on your Tuscan cycling tour is a relaxed, mostly flat ride along the Serchio River. You’ll arrive in Lucca, where splendid gardens and a 2nd century Roman amphitheater, Piazza Anfiteatro, await you.

Day 3 Cycle the Fucecchio Wetlands

You can fly directly to Pisa (PSA). Take the train directly to San Guiliano Terme (Pisa). You can also fly into Florence (FLR), and from the Florence Santa Maria Novella railway station, take the direct train to San Guiliano Terme. You’ll need to change trains in Pisa Centrale. Check train schedules at this website.
No, you will be provided with maps, route guides, notes, and 24/7 telephone support to complete your self-guided tour.
Self-guided travelling is not difficult! For many, it is a preferred type of travel as you are in charge of your own time and pace. You are provided all the information on which direction you need to go daily. In most cases, you don’t need to carry lots of things with you and can only carry your daypack, as your luggage will be picked up from your hotel daily in the morning and delivered to your destination hotel.
The tour ends in Florence, where you can take the train directly to the airport.
