Day 1 Arrival in Antequera
After arriving in Antequera, you will have the chance to explore the town’s historic streets. Take some time to walk through the historic centre of Antequera with its 30 steeples before settling in for the night.

Day 2 Cycle Through Lucena
Day 2 of the tour will begin with a welcome briefing and bike fitting in the morning. Afterwards, the tour will begin with a ride on the old railway line through the beautiful countryside to Lucena, one of the most important olive oil-producing regions of the world.

Day 3 Bike through Olive Groves to Dona Mencia
Today you will continue your journey along the old railway line, passing by vast olive groves that stretch out before you and enjoying wonderful views overlooking the hills. The inhabitants of the region live mainly from agriculture and are very tradition-conscious people. This is also reflected in the towns of Cabra, Zuheros and Dona Mencia.

Day 4 Travel Through the Countryside to Córdoba
The Sierra Morena, with its beautiful foothills, frames the former European Capital of Culture. This romantic area is surrounded by pine forests and an impressive solitude. Today’s route follows nearly empty streets through hilly terrain towards Córdoba, passing by farms that specialize in the breeding of fighting bulls and enjoy a special reputation in Andalusia. Day 5 Bike to Palma del Rio
In the wide valley of the Guadalquivir, you will leave Córdoba on an old Roman road to Ecija, the capital of horse breeding. Nearby you will find the important Franciscan monastery in Palma del Rio, from which monks journeyed to America to proselytize.

Day 6 Visit the Historic City of Carmona
Today you will continue your tour through the Campiña of Seville, a gently rolling landscape of fertile farmland to the west. Carmona is a city that has not changed for 150 years, and is home to Baroque palaces, churches and monasteries, and is surrounded by intact Moorish town walls.

Day 7 Traverse the Alcores Plateau to Seville
Day 7 of the tour will see you cycle over the gently rolling plateau of Alcores to one of the most fertile agricultural areas in Andalusia. For centuries, Alcalá de Guadaira supplied Seville with bread and water and it is considered to be one of the cradles of flamenco. Your destination is Seville, where three of the most important operas are performed: Don Juan, the seducer; the cunning barber Figaro; and Carmen, the femme fatale, who lost her life somewhere between the tobacco factories and the bullfight arena.
