5-Day Barolo Bike Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Alba
Arrive at Alba. Feel free to explore the town of Barolo on your own, maybe with a visit to the medieval castle and its wine museum. The town is surrounded by several scenic hiking trails that unfold through the vineyards. Enjoy dinner on your own in the evening.

Day 2 Biking in the Barolo Wine Region
Today you will walk up and enjoy a nice breakfast in your hotel, before pedalling on some of the most scenic wine routes of the Langhe hills, a UNESCO World Heritage site where medieval castles and farmhouses are nestled amongst the vineyards.
The bike route will include scenic photo spots and free time in the village of La Morra for lunch on your own. In the afternoon you will stop in at a boutique Barolo winery and visit the aging cellar, where you will enjoy a tasting of four wines paired with salami and cheese. Return to the hotel afterwards for the evening and have dinner on your own.

Day 3 Pedalling on the Alta Langa Roads
Today you will head south toward the “Alta Langa” roads, a region where the hills get higher
in elevation and the vineyards give way to hazelnut orchards and hardier vegetation. Here, plan a stop in one of the villages, where you can find the perfect place for lunch on your own.
Afterwards, you will continue biking with scenic views of medieval towers perched on hilltops and
farmhouses scattered around the countryside. In the late afternoon, return to the hotel in Barolo and head out for dinner on your own in the evening.

Day 4 Biking to Alba
After breakfast in your hotel, you will set out on a biking route that takes you to admire the exterior of the castle of Grinzane Cavour and the village of Diano d’Alba, all the way down to Alba. Enjoy a break in Alba.
In the evening, you will drop off the e-bikes to conclude the cycling part of your tour.

Day 5 Departure Day
