Day 1 Arrival in Niederthai
After arriving in the small Austrian village of Niederthai, you will meet up with your guide in the evening and enjoy an immersive first night in the Alps, before settling in ahead of the next day’s journey.

Day 2 Summit Narrengogl
Today you will depart from Niederthai on foot towards Narrengogl (2310 m) for your first warm-up hike that will begin with magnificent views. Depending on the fitness level of the group, you will have the option of continuing to the Hühnerkogl and looping back to Niederthai in order to make the most of the Austrian landscapes.

Distance: 5h Walk, 820m Ascent/820m Descent
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Day 3 Climb Wäckelwarte
Day 3 of your hiking tour in the Austrian Tyrol will see you climb to the belvedere of Wäckelwarte (2097 m), high above Längenfeld. After, a beautiful path in the forest will take you to a unique observation point where you can gaze out at your surroundings. Finish off the day’s adventure by looping back to Wäckelwarte to end the day in style.

Distance: 6h Walk, 1000m Ascent/1000m Descent

Day 4 Lake Soomsee
Today you will take the road towards the resort of Obergurgl, where you will follow a very beautiful path that climbs to Lake Soomsee (2580 m) Surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of Tyrol, the view here is breathtaking! On the return, you will follow a green path to Obergurgl.

Distance: 6h Walk, 800m Ascent/800m Descent

Day 5 Hike to Finstertalalm
Day 5 of the tour will see you discover the end of the Horlach valley. Travelling from Niederthai, you will follow the river before climbing uphill towards Finstertalalm (2142 m). Depending on the shape of the group, you can push your endurance to complete a loop back to the starting point that offers some incredible scenery.

Distance: 5h Walk, 700m Ascent/700m Descent
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Day 6 Ascend 3000m towards the Winnes Mannle
The final day of hiking on your tour will see you make your way from the small station of Vent towards the Wildes Mannle (3019 m), a characteristic peak of this beautiful valley that is situated very close to the glaciers. It is in this area that Ötzi, a mummy remarkably preserved in the ice, was discovered. Return to the starting point along the same path.

Day 7 Departure Day
