Day 1 Arrive in Bayonne
Upon your arrival in Bayonne, capital of the Labors, cross the Adour and Nive rivers to reach your hotel nestled in the heart of “Little Bayonne.” Here, a local representative awaits to guide you through your stay.
Explore the charming streets, visit attractions like the Basque museum, and savor local delicacies like Bayonne ham.

Day 2 Bike to Sorde-l’Abbaye
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on your first cycling adventure. Pick up your E-Bike and then begin your exploration of the Basco-Béarnais region, pedaling through scenic landscapes. As you ride alongside the Adour River, transition from the Basque houses to lush greenery and exotic surroundings. Along the way, marvel at the kiwi fields lining the Adour, where you can have lunch in the small village of Port de Lanne and enjoy local delicacies such as eel.
At the end of the afternoon you arrive in Sorde-l’Abbaye where you can visit the village’s old abbey, built in the 11th century and classified as a historic monument.

Day 3 Dive Into the Heart of the Béarnaise Lands
Hop back in your saddle this morning for a deep dive into the heart of the Béarnaise lands and its villages of character such as Sauveterre-de-Béarn and the “Principality of Laàs”. You follow the Gave d’Oloron, this torrential watercourse, and finally arrive at Navarrenx, the most beautiful village in France and the French capital of wild salmon fishing.
It is therefore natural that you learn about fly fishing in a bucolic setting full of authenticity later today!

Day 4 Cycle the Béarnais Hills to Saint-Palais
After breakfast, you leave the fortified town of Navarrenx this morning and return to one of the most beautiful roads in the South-West, through the Béarnais hills and fields dominated by the great mountains of the Pyrenees.
Along the way, Béarn gives way to the Basque Country, to the village of Saint-Palais where you can attend a game of Basque pelota in trinquet, a true standard of Basque culture and traditions.

Day 5 Visit the Oxocelhaya Caves
Well rested this morning and following breakfast, you’ll set out to make a first stop to visit the Oxocelhaya Caves, a prehistoric and geological jewel. You travel through the Basque countryside, lush and full of legends, to Cambo-les-Bains, a seaside resort which is home to the “Villa Arnaga”, an exceptional residence built by Edmond Rostand at the beginning of the 20th century.
Still on the bike you reach Espelette, a village known for its famous pepper.

Day 6 Organic Farm Visit & Rest Day
Today is a rest day for the calves! In the morning you can visit an organic farm producing the famous Espelette pepper. The afternoon is free and you can go on an excursion in the streets of Espelette and its surroundings, discover new local specialties or simply relax and enjoy your lovely hotel!

Day 7 Final Day on Basque Roads
For this last day on the Basque roads, you leave Espelette and cross the typical Basque villages of Ascain, Sare and Ainhoa. You end your cycling trip in an extraordinary way, following the ocean and taking a lunch break in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, on the main square where painters rub shoulders, or at the tip of Sainte Barbe to overlook the cornice.
Later, you take the roads of Guéthary, Bidart then Biarritz and endure a big breath of fresh, salty air before reaching Bayonne.
