Day 1 Arrive in Cusco
First thing’s first: meet and greet your guide at the airport before travelling to your hotel. After you drop your bags and freshen up, you’ll embark on a short walking tour of Cusco. It’s time to get acquainted with Peru’s lovely, welcoming culture.

Day 2 Bike to Cusco ruins
Begin your Sacred Valley biking adventure by visiting a collection of Inca ruins scattered around Cusco! Today’s bike trip will help you acclimate to Peru’s higher elevation while you wind to phenomenal ruins and natural attractions, including Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, and Tambomachay.
A support vehicle will follow you on every biking journey in case of emergencies and to carry extra gear.

Day 3 Scenic ride to Pisac
Take a bus out of Cusco to escape traffic before hopping on your bike and following a road-less-travelled to Pisac. Bask in the rolling scenery as you ride!
Enjoy a lovely picnic lunch by a soothing river partway through your journey. After arriving in Pisac, you’ll ditch your bike and walk around the town’s artisan market. Get some souvenirs here!

Day 4 Head to Urubamba
Travel deep into the Sacred Valley of the Incas on today’s ride! Before you hop on your bike, you’ll take a short drive above Pisac, where some stunning ruins await.
After crossing the river of Taray, you’ll get on your bikes and ride along a dirt track. Catch glimpses of rural life in the Sacred Valley while Inca ruins and glaciated mountains stand tall in the background.

Day 5 Enjoy Lake Huaypo
Your Peruvian biking adventure begins with a short car ride to Lake Piuray, where you’ll unload your bikes and start riding. Cycle along the gentle trail bordering the lake until you join the road that leads to Chinchero. You may be able to witness traditional weavings take place while you’re here!
Continue riding to Lake Huaypo and enjoy an authentic Pachamanca (a local way of making food in the Andes) lunch here. Bike downhill to Urubamba for a laid-back evening.

Day 6 Bike to Huarocondo
Enjoy a lovely morning of riding along the shores of Lake Huaypo before making your way to Huarocondo. Spend some time exploring the town! You may want to try their local cuisine chicharonnes de Chancho (deep-fried pork). Follow a new road to Pacchar, and eventually, head back to Urubamba during the afternoon.

Day 7 Explore Maras salt pans
Prepare for one of the most memorable sightseeing days on the Biking Adventures in Cusco’s Sacred Valley! First, you’ll drive to the postcard-worthy Maras salt pans, which are still mined by hand. Don’t put your cameras away after admiring the terraced salt fields.
Next, you’ll bike through the Chinchero Plateau, where farmers’ fields contrast with snow-capped mountains. But that’s not all! Eventually, you’ll reach another highlight: Moray Inca ruins. Enjoy your ride through the Sacred Valley back to your hotel, where you can think back on the memories captured today.

Day 8 Discover Machu Picchu
Ditch your bikes and get ready for a day you’ll never forget! Begin your journey with a train ride to km104, where you’ll shake your legs out and start winding to the renowned World Heritage Site, passing by impressive ruins and scenery en route.
Stop for a picnic lunch at Wiñay Wayna, adorned with orchids and swallows. Soon the main event will emerge into view: Machu Picchu! Embark on a walking tour with your guide around these phenomenal Inca ruins before heading to the bus for your ride back. Please note that the Inca Trail is closed in February for repairs, but you can still visit Machu Picchu by taking the train to Aguas Calientes.

Day 9 Bike Lares Valley

Sacred Valley Bike Tour Price and Dates
This guided Cusco Sacred Valley tour in Peru is run as a custom tour for your group only and the price depends on the number of people in your group. Prices below are per person sharing a double or a triple room.- Guided Groups of 4: USD3485 per person
This tour is subject to non-standard cancellation terms.
- 65 days or more prior to departure: 100% of tour costs returned
- Between 36 and 64 days prior to departure: 70% of tour costs returned, less whatever is already paid out in full for non-refundable train tickets and hotel nights. Any non-refundable amounts will be listed on the invoice.
- 35 days or less prior to departure: Work proactively to return as much of customer fees as possible, though in some cases this may be a minor amount due to fixed costs incurred as part of the tour.
- Once tour starts: No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a tour once the tour begins, including if a guest leaves a tour for any reason or has to be removed from a tour.

This biking adventure tour will have you staying in four hotels for 9 nights. The hotels have modern necessities that will keep you comfy and relaxed. Keep in mind that rooms are double occupancy, but you can upgrade to single occupancy for an additional fee. Single travellers are also required to pay a supplement.
