Day 1 Welcome Meeting and Bike Fitting
Get your wits about you with an information session held by your guides (if taking a guided tour) or tour representatives (if taking a self-guided tour) to begin your mountain biking adventure. You’ll get your bike fitted and review all that’s needed to begin biking tomorrow.
Once you’re all set, enjoy a walk around the medieval city of Vic, perhaps seeking out a local dessert or glass of wine.

Day 2 Riding the Catalonian Countryside
Good morning! Seize your first day in Spain with a ride along peaceful country trails through the rural parts of Catalonia. Break for lunch in Collsuspina, perhaps treating yourself to a beer before hitting the road again.

Day 3 Biking the Way of Saint James
You’ll pedal along a little slice of history today, riding the Way of Saint James, an ancient pilgrimage route. Following the footsteps of many before you, arrive at the Monestir de Santa Maria de l’Estany, where gorgeous views of the Pyrenees and the meadows of Catalonia unfold behind a historic monastery.

Day 4 Climb to the Monastery of Montserrat
After breakfast, continue on along the Way of Saint James towards the gorgeous mountain of Montserrat. You’ll trace the Llobregat River, where you’ll be able to see the “tinas” or traditional rural winemaking buildings. From here, prepare for a climb through the forest up to the Montserrat Monastery. You’ll be staying right nearby tonight, so you’ll have lots of time to admire this historical spot.

Day 5 Following the River to Terrassa
Wake up in Montserrat and enjoy your morning coffee before hopping on your bike and following the Llobregat once again. You’ll be riding through the industrial region near Barcelona today, taking side roads to Terrassa.
Terrassa has a rich modernist influence, so take a walk through the area to admire the buildings after dinner.

Day 6 Ride into Barcelona
On your last day of biking, you’ll make your dramatic entrance into Barcelona via Collserola Park. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to stop at la Seu d’Egara and the Monastery of San Sugat, two beautiful local landmarks.
Barcelona will unfold below you and the sea will be on the horizon as you pedal your final few kilometres. You made it!
