Day 1 Arrival in Dresden
Getting to the bustling city of Dresden is easy by train, plane, or car, depending on where you’re coming from.
Check in to your hotel and go out to enjoy the amazing landmarks, including the regal Zwinger Palace, the Semper Opera House, Frauenkirche Square, and the Procession of Princes, to name just a few.

Day 2 Bad Schandau and Back
Today you can either relax and enjoy sightseeing in Dresden or take a train to Bad Schandau and cycle all the way back to Dresden.
On the route back to the city you can see the Konigstein Fortress and the beautiful landscapes of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.

Day 3 Dresden to Meissen
During today’s ride to Meissen, take some time to appreciate the prominent gothic Albrechtsburg Castle perched on the hill. Meissen is also known for porcelain, so be sure to stop by a local porcelain factory while in town.

Day 4 Meissen to Riesa/Strehla
It’s a beautiful ride today through the picturesque vineyards and wine-producing villages that are perched alongside the Elbe River.

Day 5 Riesa/Strehla to Torgau

Day 6 Torgau to Lutherstadt Wittenberg
From Torgau, ride across the Elbe River floodplains towards your final destination, Lutherstadt Wittenberg. This historic city, full of colourful architecture, museums, and churches is where Martin Luther began the Reformation movement more than 500 years ago.
If today’s distance is too long, you can stop in Pretzsch for a night, en route to Wittenberg.

Yes, you can rent a bike during the booking process. Rental bikes are standard touring bikes or electric pedal-assist bikes.
All rental bicycles are supplied with the following accessories: one cable lock with key and one waterproof pannier per bicycle, one map holder and complete tool kit per room (tool kit: inner tube, pump, puncture repair kit, tire levers, cleaning cloth, allen key). Speedometers can be rented for 5 EUR a day..
Self-guided travelling is not difficult! For many, it is a preferred type of travel as you are in charge of your own time and pace. You are provided all the information on which direction you need to go daily. However, self-guided travelling requires good navigation skills and those who don’t feel confident in unknown places should consider booking guided tours.

Fly into Dresden Airport (DRS) and transfer to your hotel to begin this tour.
