Guided Tour du Mont Blanc Itinerary
Day 1 Meeting at Les Houches
On this day, you embark on your journey from the charming, traditional village of Les Houches. You will meet with your guide at 6 pm for a trip orientation meeting and introduction to the group. Hotel check-in is available after 3 pm.

Day 2 Start your TMB and trek to Les Contamines
Walking through the pleasant village of Les Houches will mark the start of your trek. You’ll take the cable car to Bellevue (included), which makes for an easier first day, cutting out the first ascent. The TMB path contours through the forest high above the Bionnassay Valley, offering views of alpine hamlets and excellent vistas of Mont Blanc and the foothills of the Alps. The Dôme du Gouter and Aiguille de Bionnassay dominate the views with an impressive glacier between them. You’ll then climb over the Col de Tricot, and the steep but scenic descent follows a series of switchbacks to Chalet de Miage. At the end of the day, you’ll descend to the lovely traditional village of Les Contamines.

Day 3 Trek to Les Chapieux
You’ll enjoy a brief private transfer to Notre Dame de la Gorge (10 min, included). From there, you’ll climb over the Col du Bonhomme and the Col de la Croix du Bonhomme, which lead to the Chapieux valley. As you pass over the Aiguille des Glaciers, you’ll be surrounded by splendid sights. Your overnight accommodation will be in shared 3-4 bedroom rooms in a mountain lodge.

Distance: 6-7, 14.5km, 1,200m of ascent, 900m of descent

Day 4 Enter Italy and hike to Courmayeur
You’ll have a bus transfer to Ville des Glaciers (5-10 min, included) to kick off today’s hike. From there, you’ll venture over the Col de la Seigne to the Italian side of the border. Expect spectacular sweeping views along the way. After descending into Val Ferret, a private transfer is planned from La Cantine de la Visaille to Courmayeur (30 min).

Day 5 Enter Switzerland and hike to La Fouly
From Courmayeur, you’ll have a private transfer to Val Ferret (30-40 min, included) to begin today’s hike. Cross the Grand Col Ferret and arrive in the quaint but beautiful village of La Fouly where your lodging in Switzerland awaits. Enjoy exceptional views over the massif of Combins in the East and the Italian side of Mont Blanc.

Day 6 Hike to Champex
Embark on a beautiful hike from La Fouly, starting from your hotel and exploring one of the most beautiful valleys of Valais. Marvel at the quaint villages and the typical local alpine architecture. The day concludes with a hike up to the Swiss village of Champex and its picturesque lake.

Day 7 Hike to Trient
Begin today’s hike from your hotel, traversing small alpine hamlets before ascending to cross through the pastures of Bovine via a balcony trail offering panoramic views of the Rhone Valley. Descend directly to our lodging for the night, nestled in an authentic mountain lodge within a charming alpine village.

Distance: 5.5-6.5 hours, 15km, 800m of ascent, 1365m of descent

Day 8 Hike to Argentière
Cross over the Col de la Balme and return to France, enjoying fantastic views of Mont Blanc and Aiguille Verte along the way. You will have the option of choosing between two alternative routes for the descent to Tour or into the village of Argentière.

Distance: 6-7 hours, 11.2km, 1000m of ascent, 820m of descent

Day 9 Hike to Chamonix
Experience the stunning Balcon des Aiguilles Rouges before embarking on a hike up to Lac Blanc. Marvel at the breathtaking surrounding scenery, including Aiguille Verte, Les Drus, La Mer de Glace, Aiguilles de Chamonix, Mont Blanc du Tacul, Aiguille du Goûter, and, of course, Mont Blanc itself! Afterward, descend to Chamonix via Le Praz. Conclude the day by taking the cableway of La Flégère and a bus to your hotel in Chamonix, both of which are included.
