Settle in Split on the first day and get your legs moving as you climb towards the top of Marjan Hill for a fabulous view of the stone buildings with red-tiled roofs and palm-tree-lined promenade of Old Town Split.
Head back in time when you arrive on Brac Island, where you’ll hike near Supetar among medieval villages and stunning coastline.
Mid-week, you’ll travel to Hvar, a famous holiday-goer island with plenty of history to discover. As you move south in the Adriatic Sea, you hit Korcula Island, where you settle in Vela Luka for two nights—this allows time for a deeper hiking exploration of the area. Find your favourite secluded cove for a swim, or head into the rocky hills for superb views.
Venture to the opposite end of the island and trek around Korcula town—a settlement from the Middle Ages with its encompassing walls still intact. The end of the week includes a visit to one of Croatia’s spectacular National Parks: Mljet National Park.
Finally, you’ll receive transportation to Dubrovnik on the last day of the tour, where you can extend your trip on your own or head home.

Croatian Trekking from Split to Dubrovnik Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival and Hike in Split
Welcome to Split! Make your way to Old Town Split where you’ll be provided with a hiking route guidebook, complete with descriptions and any necessary vouchers and tickets for hikes during the tour. You can start your hiking tour with a short exploration of Marjan Hill which offers the best view of Split and the surrounding area. Depending on how much time you have left after the walk, wander through the narrow alleys of the Old Town to find UNESCO World Heritage Sites like St. Domnius’s Cathedral and the Piazza, then turn the corner, and you’re in front of a European designer boutique. Find this same blend of old and new in Split’s galleries, restaurants, and bars. Rest up in your apartment in Split, and read through the hiking options in your guidebook for the week ahead.

Day 2 Hike on Brac Island
Today you will enjoy a day visit to one of the largest Croatian islands, only 50min ferry trip away. Yo will depart after the breakfast boarding the ferry from Split to Supetar. For your time on Brac island, we’ve prepared 3 different hiking routes, each starting from the ferry harbor/hotel. Routes are different in length and duration, so you can choose between an easy one, a moderate one or a challenging one. Descriptions and detailed stats for all of the routes are displayed in your road-book which you will receive upon arrival to Split.
When finished with exploring Brac, you will board on the return ferry to Split in the late afternoon.

Day 3 Explore Hvar Island
You continue hiking Split to Dubrovnik with a morning ferry ride from Split to Hvar island. The City of Hvar gained glory and power during the Middle Ages as a significant port within the Venetian naval empire. Today, it is one of the most popular destinations in the Dalmatian Riviera. Often described as out of a fairy tale, it is renowned for its unique fusion of luxurious Mediterranean nature, rich cultural and historical heritage, Venetian architecture, and mild climate. Today there will be several hiking routes you can choose from, starting in Hvar town. Enjoy your day exploring Hvar at your own pace.

Day 4 Transfer to Korcula Island
Soak up your last moments of heavenly Hvar before heading to Vela Luka on Korcula Island. If you wish, you can add a sea kayaking adventure to the dreamy Pakleni islands to your trekking tour, but this is optional. Bid farewell to Hvar and take a short passenger ferry to Korcula, where a driver will meet you to take you to your apartment in Vela Luka. Spend the evening strolling the beautiful coastline of secluded coves around this town, where many fishers make their living in the tourism industry. Speaking of which—try some seafood while you’re here! Find a spot to watch the sunset and rest up for tomorrow.

Day 5 Hike Around Vela Luka
After a Dalmatian breakfast, pick your hiking route and set out when you’re ready. You’ll be spending the night in Vela Luka again, so take advantage to explore far and wide with the hiking options in your guidebook. Hike to a hidden cove for a beach day, or get up in the hills for some exceptional views. Wind down in your apartment in Vela Luka for the evening.

Day 6 Hike Around Korcula Town
Once you’ve finished breakfast, a driver will bring you to Korcula town on the other side of the same island. You’ll notice that medieval walls encircle the Old Town, giving it that Middle Ages ambiance. Settle into your apartment then follow the directions in your guidebook for today’s moderate hike starting from the centre of Korcula town. When you come back, walk mindfully through the narrow streets of stone buildings, monuments, restaurants, galleries, and shops. Get some well-deserved rest when you have finished for the day.

Day 7 Explore the National Park on Mljet Island
Take a 30-minute ferry after breakfast to reach Mljet, the final Dalmatian Island on the itinerary. Mystical, magical, magnificent Mljet has been called “paradise on earth.” The moderate hiking route planned for today starts in Pomena and brings you to the lake area in the island’s extraordinary National Park. Find yourself among the fragrant Mediterranean wilderness with its lush green forest, white rocky coves, and vivid cobalt waters. Return to Korcula on a ferry in the late afternoon.

Day 8 Transfer to Dubrovnik
After breakfast, admire the Adriatic Sea views on the 1.5-hour passenger ferry from Pomena to Dubrovnik, where your trekking tour ends. If this is part of a longer trip, carry on! Otherwise, it’s time to pack up and head home.
