Day 1 Arrival in Vålådalen
Kicking off your adventure in Sweden, you’ll arrive in Östersund and be driven by your guide to your mountain lodge in Vålådalen. Tucked into the mountains, you’ll enjoy plenty of fresh air and open space while you wait for dinnertime.

Day 2 Skiing Around Vålådalen
For your first day on the skis, you’ll stay pretty close to home to warm up. Skiing on the tracks near Vålådalen, your guide will offer some tips and tricks as needed.
Hit the outdoor hot tub after your afternoon session, then enjoy time in the sauna before dinner and curling up in front of the fireplace.

Day 3 Loop Ski Excursion from Vålådalen
Packing up your sandwiches and a thermos of hot chocolate, it’s off on a loop ski from the lodge. You’ll ski along the picturesque, wintery trails, stopping for lunch in the perfect quiet of the wilderness.
Return to the lodge to complete your loop, enjoying another night with the outdoor hot tub and sauna.

Day 4 Ski to Edsåsdalen
Check out of your lovely mountain lodge and begin your morning trip to the next valley over, where your new home base is. Enjoy the wide, flat trail, the forest, and the mountains sloping along the horizon.
Upon your arrival in Edsåsdalen, you’ll check into your hotel. You can alpine ski in this area if you want to check out the lifts, and there’s also a nice pool to swim in.

Day 5 Short or Long Mountain Ski
Sleep in a bit today and then enjoy a breakfast of Swedish waffles dolloped with whipped cream. When you’re ready, get the skis on and head uphill along a nearby mountain slope, stopping to eat lunch in the sun. You can choose to take a longer or shorter route home today, so you can tailor your day depending on your energy.

Day 6 Skiing the Trails of Åre
Time to head to your final base for the tour! Transfer to Åre, a popular hiking and skiing destination. While it’s known for alpine skiing, there are breathtaking cross-country trails all around town. Explore these all afternoon, heading up into the forest and mountains for a panoramic view of the town.
Back and cleaned up, take the evening to enjoy all the shops and restaurants in the area, making the most of your last night.
