Dresden to Berlin Cycling Tour
Day 1 Arrival in Dresden
Nicknamed the “Florence of the Elbe,” the city of Dresden is the beautiful capital of Saxony. Check in to your hotel and venture out to see top sights like the stunning Zwinger Palace, Frauenkirche Square, and the Semper Opera House.

Day 2 Dresden to Strehla
Your cycling adventure begins today with a ride through the picturesque vineyards of Radebeul and past Meissen, home of the regal Albrechtsburg Castle. Feel free to stop for a tasting wherever you please!
You’ll finish your day in the rural town of Strehla for a quiet night in the country.

Day 3 Strehla to Torgau

Day 4 Torgau to Lutherstadt Wittenberg
Following the river, reach Pretzsch and cross the Elbe River by ferry to cycle on the other side. Soon you’ll reach Lutherstadt Wittenberg where Martin Luther began Germany’s Reformation movement.
If today’s ride of 68km is too long, you can overnight in Pretzsch and ride to Wittenberg the following day.

Yes, you can rent a bike during the booking process. Rental bikes are standard touring bikes or electric pedal-assist bikes.
Self-guided travelling is not difficult! For many, it is a preferred type of travel, since you are in charge of your own time and pace. You are provided with all the information you’ll need to follow the route each day and often have access to phone support or other kinds of assistance. However, self-guided travelling requires good navigation skills and those who don’t feel confident in unknown places should consider booking guided tours.

All rental bicycles are supplied with the following accessories: one cable lock with key and one waterproof pannier per bicycle, one map holder and complete tool kit per room (tool kit: inner tube, pump, puncture repair kit, tire levers, cleaning cloth, allen key). Speedometers can be rented for 5 EUR per day.
The rental bikes will be delivered to your hotel at 8 am on Day 1. The bike will be picked up from the last hotel when the tour finishes.
