Guided Dolomites Hiking Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Cortina d’Ampezzo
You will be picked up from Venice airport at 3pm and enjoy a private transfer lasting 2-2.5 hours to Cortina. If you arrive earlier, you have the option to meet the group directly at the hotel. Before dinner, there will be a trip orientation meeting for the group.

Day 2 Cinque Torri
You’ll enjoy a private transfer lasting 25 minutes to reach the Falzarego Pass (2105m/6906ft). From there, you’ll hike up to the Forcella Averau (2435m/7989ft), passing through a stunning passage beneath the cliffs of Averau, then continuing to the Forcella Nuvolau and the refuge Averau. Following this, you’ll descend to the refuge Scoiattoli, offering a scenic view of the Tofane and the Cinque Torri, renowned stone towers cherished by rock climbers. The descent to Cian Zopé (1732m/5682ft) is straightforward. Finally, you’ll return to Cortina via a private transfer lasting 15 minutes.

Day 3 Lake of the Croda da lago
The lake is located just a few kilometers from your hotel. You’ll begin your journey at the Giau Pass (2236m/7336ft), which you’ll reach via a private transfer lasting 25 minutes. As you traverse the path, you’ll encounter numerous small passes, culminating in the breathtaking Forcella Giau (2360m/7743ft), offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Passing through alpine pastures and along the Ambrizzola path (2277m/7470ft), you’ll eventually descend to the enchanting Lake of the Croda and its refuge (2055m/6742ft). Afterward, your route leads you down to Ponte de Ru Curto (1710m/5610ft) via the Alta Via number 1, where another private transfer awaits to whisk you back to Cortina in just 15 minutes.

Day 4 Crossing of the Tofane Massif
The hike commences at an altitude of 1985m/6512ft, accessible via a 25-minute private transfer (included). From there, your route traverses under the Pass dei Bois and the southern face of the Tofane de Rozes via the Alta Via number 1. Eventually, you arrive at the refuge Dibona (2045m/6709ft) with its terrace, offering a splendid view of the Cinque Torri. You then descend along a picturesque, forested path to Pocol, where transportation to Cortina awaits (10 min, included).

Day 5 Tre Cime di Lavaredo
Today, you dedicate your time to exploring the renowned Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Begin with a private morning transfer (45 min, included) to Auronzo refuge (2320m/7611ft), passing by the picturesque Misurina Lake. The trailhead already treats you to outstanding views. Setting off from the refuge, you ascend over the small scenic pass of Forcella de Mezzo (2315m/7595ft). Descending towards the north face of the Tre Cime, you pass through the Forcellina pass and its lakes at (2245m/7365ft). Your knowledgeable guides are adept at minimizing crowding in this popular area, ensuring an enjoyable experience. Numerous side trails and options await for the second half of today’s hike. En route back to the Auronzo Refuge, you’ll stop by the Locatelli refuge and traverse the Forcella Laveredo pass, completing a full circumnavigation of the famed peaks of Tre Cime. A private transfer (45 min, included) will then whisk you back to Cortina.

Day 6 Sorapis Lake
Embark on a classic Cortina hike with a private transfer (20 min, included) to Passo Tre Croci, where your journey to the breathtaking Sorapis lake begins. This stunning hike commences on a wide forest path, gradually ascending to unveil the first panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains. As the trail progresses, expect a few rocky sections supported by cables, rails, and stairs. Passing by Refugio Vandelli, you’ll soon arrive at the picturesque lake, cradled in a cirque beneath the summit of Sorapis Mountain (3205m/10515ft). After indulging in lunch and exploring the pristine lake, you’ll retrace your steps along the thrilling path to your awaiting private transportation back to Cortina (20 min, included). Tonight, you’ll gather in town to commemorate your journey with a final celebratory dinner.

Day 7 Departure to Venice
