Highlights
A 6-day walk from iconic Santiago de Compostela to the famous Cape Fisterra
Experience the symbolic endpoint of the world at Cabo Fisterra, historically regarded as the end of the known world, offering pilgrims a profound sense of accomplishment.
Collect your pilgrim stamps along this route, and earn your Fisterrana, the official certificate of the Finisterre Way.
Immerse yourself in the endless natural beauty that makes this route so special, like the serene oak and chestnut forests.
Discover the rich cultural heritage of this reason, as you explore charming villages like Negreira, Olveiroa, & Corcubión.
This Finisterre Way Tour is an epilogue of the Jacobean route. It leaves directly from Santiago in the direction of Finisterre, specifically to Cabo Fisterra. This point was long considered the end of the world.
Some pilgrims choose to do the section in reverse. The signage throughout the tour is good. More and more people want to live this experience and it is gaining popularity, so the City Council of Fisterra has created the “Fisterrana”, which is obtained by showing the duly stamped credential. In any case, please do not forget that this certificate is not official.
