Fjord of Saguenay Sea Kayaking Extended Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Start your epic sea kayaking adventure
Kick off your paddling adventure by meeting your guides and group at the operator’s office. You can leave your vehicle here during your trip. From here, you’ll take a shuttle to La Baie, where you’ll go over introductions, familiarize yourself with the equipment, and discuss safety and rescue procedures. Paddle east toward your campsite once you’ve packed everything up!
Overnight Location: Camping along the Fjord on the National Park’s coves
Distance: 18km
Meals: Lunch, dinner
Day 2-5 Explore length of the Saguenay river
Explore the total length of the Saguenay river! You will discover another part of the Saguenay over the new few days. Expect to pass through the Sainte-Marguerite bay, a sacred place where beluga whales gather.
Overnight Location: Camping along the Fjord on the National Park’s coves
Distance: 15-20km
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Day 6 Explore Tadoussac
Get ready to marvel at the fjord meeting the river today—it’s a beautiful sight! You will also explore the Tadoussac area and, potentially, catch a view of the Minke Whale. After exploring Tadoussac, hop on a boat shuttle back to head back to your vehicle.
