Fjord of Saguenay Sea Kayaking Highlights Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Head to Éternité bay
Meet your guides at the operator’s headquarters, where you will hop in a shuttle to Éternité bay. Admire the majestic Caps Liberté, Égalité and Fraternité, offering one of the most beautiful views of the fjord. Then, load up your gear, review safety tips, and learn about the equipment. After, you’ll paddle around 16-18km east. Enjoy a lovely night under the stars!
Overnight Location: Camp at L’Anse du Portage
Distance: 16-18km
Meals: Lunch and dinner
Day 2-3 Paddle east
Over the next two days, you will continue paddling east. Explore another part of Saguenay with the unexplained presence of islands and see a little cave that served as a shelter for the Amerindians. Finally, you will pass through the Sainte-Marguerite bay, a sacred place where beluga whales gather. Expect to paddle around 16-20km each day. Spend the evenings along the Fjord on National Park campsites—locations TBD, depending on distance travelled.

Day 4 Travel to Tadoussac
Paddle towards the Tadoussac area, where the fjord meets the river. It is stunning here. Look out for possible minke whale sightings as you paddle! You will enjoy free hours discovering Tadoussac before returning to L’Anse-Saint-Jean by boat.

This tour is based in tents. Spend the evening falling asleep to nature’s white noise while resting a tent atop a wooden platform.
