This area offers not only these fascinating cultural impressions, but also lets you experience untouched nature.
Your bicycle trip begins in Gdańsk, where your Nature Travel representative will meet you in your hotel at 2.30 p.m. You shall receive detailed maps and vast, constantly updated descriptions of the daily segments of your cycling journey. You will get your bicycles the next day at the start of the tour.

Day 1 The Medieval Gdańsk
Individual arrival to your hotel in Gdańsk. After meeting with your representative at 14:30 for some information on the upcoming journey, you will set out on a guided tour of the Old Town. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel in Gdańsk.

Day 2 The Mightiest Medieval Castle of Europe Tour
After breakfast, you will take the train to Malbork. Once there, you will take a tour of Europe’s largest medieval fortress, which was once the capital of the Teutonic Order. In the afternoon, your first bicycle trip to Elbląg will begin, providing beautiful landscape views along the way. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel in Elbląg.

Day 3 Cycling the Vistula Lagoon and Frombork
Today you will cycle to Frombork, which is best known as the town of Nicolaus Copernicus. Here, you will also have the option to take a tour of the historic Cathedral. Along the way you will also be able to enjoy some lovely views of the Vistula Lagoon. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel in Frombork.

Day 4 The Cycle Tour on Former Railway Line
After breakfast, you will be able to enjoy some free time prior to setting out around noon to cycle to Braniewo (ca. 18 km). Here, you will take a train to Orneta, before cycling to Lidzbark Warmiński, where you will have the option to tour the castle of the Warmian bishops. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel in Lidzbark Warmiński.

Day 5 Cycling by the Rattling Storks in Masuria
In the morning you will cycle to Kętrzyn, passing by many picturesque villages where the silence is interrupted only by the stork rattling. Along the way, you can tour Święta Lipka (optional), an important pilgrim church that was built in the 17th century. It is possible to shorten this day’s bicycle trip (optional). Dinner and accommodation in a hotel in Kętrzyn.

Day 6 Cycle to Giżycko
Day 6 of your Polish cycling adventure will see you ride to Wilkasy, in the Giżycko area. Stopping in Gierłoż along the way, you will have the option to tour the infamous “Wolf’s lair”, which served as Adolf Hitler’s eastern headquarters during World War II. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel in Giżycko.

Day 7 Rest Day or an Optional 50km Bike Trip
Today you can choose to either take a beautifully scenic bicycle trip (ca. 50 km) around the Masurian lakes or opt for a rest day to explore on your own. Dinner and accommodations are the same as the previous day.

Day 8 Move to Mikolajki by Cycling or Cruise Ship
To avoid the crowded roads, guests will have the option to take a beautiful cruise on the Masurian lakes, which are connected by numerous canals (this optional cruise to Mikołajki takes about 3 hours). In the picturesque port town of Mikołajki, you will have enough free time to familiarize yourself with the city, before cycling to your hotel. Accommodation and dinner in a hotel in the Mikołajki area. Distances cycled on this day are 10km with the cruise or approximately 50 km without the cruise.

Day 9 The Most Beautiful Paddling Tour in Masuria
This day’s cycling programme offers a bike trip through the Masurian Landscape Park to Krutyń. In the afternoon, you can go paddling on the beautiful Krutynia river. Also available is the option to go on a hike at Mokre lake (ca. 10 km). Dinner and accommodation in a boarding house in Krutyń.

Day 10 Old Town Guided Tour and Goodbye to Masuria
Transfer by local bus to Warsaw, where you will take a guided tour of the Old Town. The tour ends at 4 pm, after which you will say “do widzenia” to Warsaw on your individual departure.
