Hiking Adventure in the Swiss Alps Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Zurich
When you arrive, your private transfer will pick you up at the Zurich Airport and bring you to your hotel in Interlaken. After you’ve settled in, it will be time to stretch your legs!
Your driver will drop you off at Giessbar waterfalls. The easy trail will show you all the beauty Lake Brienz has to offer from meadows to waterfalls, forests to dramatic cliffs. Your driver will pick you up from the trail and take you back to Interlaken, then you’re free to explore on your own for the evening. Enjoy this gorgeous alpine city.

Distance: 3 to 4 hours, 470m of ascent, 470m of descent

Day 2 Hike Kleine Scheidegg to Wengen
After breakfast, your driver will take you to charming Grindelwald. Today you’ll be trekking across the Kleine Scheidegg Pass. It’s a gentle trail through serene meadows and past the awe-inspiring Eiger North Wall. Bring a camera!
You’ll arrive in Wengen on foot as this picturesque mountain village doesn’t allow cars. Take an evening stroll or find a local restaurant for some fondue to cap the night off.

Distance: 6 to 7 hours, 1,150m of ascent, 1,400m of descent

Day 3 Cable Car to Murren and Trek to Griesalp
This morning, you start your day with the cable car ride up to Murren. You’ll spend the morning hiking to Rotstockhütte, where you can rest before you start your more strenuous afternoon.
The trail up to Sefinenfurgge Pass is steep, but the panoramic views of the valleys and mountains will be ample inspiration. The footing is a little more challenging as you’ll be descending through scree in the suddenly barren lunar landscape. Take it easy and enjoy the journey.
Your trail will end at Griesalp where you can relax for the evening.

Distance: 7 hours, 1,200m of ascent, 1,400m of descent
Meals: Breakfast, lunch
Day 4 Hike the Wildwater Trail and Gries Gorge
This morning will start with a beautiful half-day hike on the Wildwater Trail. This path will lead you into the Gries Gorge towards the idyllic Lake Tschingelsee, framed by mountains.
You’ll also see Pochten Falls and the “witch’s cauldron” before returning for Griesalp. In the afternoon, you’ll be driven to Thun. The afternoon is yours to explore, but be sure to visit the 12th-century castle that overlooks the town.

Day 5 Cycling Tour of Interlaken and Wine Tasting
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up for your cycling tour of Interlaken. Enjoy a pleasant bike ride along the coast of Lake Thun, with a stop in Spiez to take in the serene scene of the lake and vineyards.
Later in the afternoon, you’ll visit a local winery for a tasting of the local best. The rest of the day, you’ll be free to enjoy this picturesque town however you like.

Day 6 Return to Zurich
All too soon, the adventure is over. After breakfast, your driver will take you back to the Zurich Airport. Safe travels!
