Day 1 Arrive in Dobbiaco
Arrive any time in the Dobbiaco region. there are a series of villages spread out here and you’ll likely be based in Niederdorf/Villabassa or Toblach/Dobbiaco.

Day 2 Explore the Mountainside on the Way to Plätzwiese
Today your hiking holiday begins at Lake Pragser Wildsee. You’ll spend your day hiking through the alpine forests and meadows across Rossalm and Brükele.
You may hike a shorter route by taking the bus and beginning your hike from the Tuscherhof guesthouse.

Distance: 7-8 hours, 1100m of ascent, 580m of descent

Day 3 Strudelkopf and Dürenstein Mountain Hike
Begin your walk through some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in the country. You’ll experience crystal lakes and stunning views of the Hohe Gaisl and Kreuzkofelgruppe Mountains.
You have the choice to take a shorter route to Strudelkopf or continue hiking the longer route to Dürrenstein.

Distance: Strudelkopf: 3-4 hours, 360m of ascent, 360m of descent
Dürrenstein: 4-5 hours, 850m of ascent, 850m of descent

Day 4 Choose Your Hike to Cortina D’Ampezzo
Once again, your hike begins from the Plätzwiese Plateau. You’ll descent to Cimabanche where you’ll decide between taking the public bus to Cortina d’Ampezzo or hiking the longer route. If you continue your walk, you’ll head to the Ra Stua hut and finish in Cortina.

Day 5 Explore the Mountains from Cortina
This morning as you begin your walk from Cortina d’Ampezzo, you’ll be awed by the incredible rocky Dolomite peaks soaring above you.
Once again, you have two trail options. The shorter follows the Dolomieu Panoramic trail, and the longer path goes to Forcella Faloria. Both walks end at the Passo Tre Croci where you begin your descent into Cortina.

Day 6 Tre Cime/Three Peaks Viewpoint Hike
Get to the Auronzo Hut by bus, which is situated directly below the world-famous rock massif of the „Three Peaks“. The imposing peaks, which were fiercely fought over as part of the front between Italy and Austria-Hungary during the mountain war in the First World War, are probably the best-known rock formation in the Dolomites. From here you hike leisurely down the Rienz Valley to the Dreizinnenblick and return by bus to the starting hotel of your hiking tour in Dobbiaco/Villabassa. For the more leisurely, there is the option of walking around the famous Three Peaks and returning by bus from the Rifugio Auronzo to Dobbiaco/Villabassa. (Ticket not included in the price).
