Yellowstone and Grand Teton Hiking Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Hike to Norris Geyser
The shuttle will meet you at the airport in Bozeman to take you to the Mammoth area. Your first hike will be a loop through Beaver Ponds to the hot springs area. Here you’ll encounter your first active thermal area and travertine terraces!
You’ll continue hiking to the Norris Geyser Basin before heading to your hotel for the evening.

Day 2 Walk the Boardwalks to Old Faithful
Today you’ll be exploring the boardwalks and paths of the Old Faithful area. You’ll see geyser basins, Firehole River, waterfalls, and the bubbling pools that make this area so famous. If you’re super lucky, you’ll witness some geothermal activity!

Day 3 Trek up Mount Washburn
This morning you’ll begin by walking 3 miles to the top of Mount Washburn. From the summit, you’ll have a great view of the Yellowstone Caldera.
Then, you’ll be picked up and driven to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone for some more hiking. There are few trails for you to explore to visit the Upper and Lower Falls before you continue to Lake Village for the night.

Day 4 Hike Bridge Creek and Elephant Back Mountain
Your day will begin with a nice, easy hike up Bridge Creek to see the bridge carved by nature. Then you’ll take the trail up Elephant Back Mountain for a spectacular view of Yellowstone Lake. Bring a camera!
After your day of hiking, you’ll be driven to your next stop in Grand Teton National Park.

Day 5 Explore Grand Teton National Park
The park doesn’t allow guided tours, so your final day will be self-guided. You’ll begin your explorations with a ferry ride across Jenny Lake for your hike to Inspiration Point. Take your time to take in your magnificent mountain surroundings as you walk around Cascade Canyon and the lake.
At the end of the day, the shuttle will drive you to Jackson, Wyoming where your tour ends. Safe travels home!
