Langhe and Roero Family Adventure Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Italy
A rental car will be waiting for you when you arrive at Milan airport. Drive your family two hours to your agrotourism accommodation in Langhe & Roero, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take the rest of the day to relax and explore at your leisure.

Day 2 Bike Tour and Picnic Lunch
This morning you’ll be taken on a scenic bike ride through the vineyards and villages. Enjoy the views during your picnic lunch and then try some gelato at a local authentic gelateria.
The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore or relax at the villa.

Day 3 Truffles and Honey
Today you’ll be searching the woods for one of Italy’s most sought-after products, the truffle! Meet a local truffle hunter and his specially trained dog who will help you hunt for your own truffles.
In the afternoon you’ll head out to a local farmer and honey producer. Learn about bees, how honey is made, and of course, sample some of the sweet stuff itself. Afterwards, you decide how you want to spend the rest of your day.

Day 4 Italian Pizza Lesson
After breakfast, you’ll meet a local chef who will teach you all about the art of making the perfect pizza. Once you’ve completed your private class, you’ll get to enjoy the fruits of your labour with a delicious pizza lunch.
Keep exploring or relax by the pool, as you have the rest of the day free.

Day 5 Farm and Pony Rides
Your morning will be free to spend at your leisure. In the afternoon, you’ll take a scenic drive to a local family farm in the Monferrato hills. Here you’ll learn all about Piedmont beef, and the kids can take a pony ride.
Dinner will be at a rustic “agriturismo” which features local produce and traditional dishes from the region, including barbecued meat and local wines.

Day 6 Bike Tour and Picnic Lunch
Today will be a full day of adventure for the family. Start the day by taking a spectacular optional hot air balloon ride followed by a gourmet brunch. Take an easy hike in the afternoon along the “Sentiero della Castagna Granda,” which means “big chestnut path.” Along this trail through the hills, you’ll find a giant 400 year old chestnut tree.
Later on, you’ll reach a wine bar that was built in a renovated “ciabot” overlooking the valley. This is the perfect place to stop and enjoy a glass of wine. Dinner tonight will be a tasting session highlighting all the amazing local produce.

Day 7 Visit to Bioparco and Farewell Dinner
Today you’ll be visiting the Zoom Bioparco, which has recreated 9 diverse habitats from around the world with over 84 different animal species. The kids will love it!
Tonight’s dinner will be at a local restaurant. You can also choose to upgrade your dinner to an incredible local Michelin star restaurant, the Ciau del Tornavento. This gourmet restaurants’ wine cellar houses over 70,000 bottles and is sure to be a meal you’ll never forget! Pricing is available on request.

Day 8 Return to Milan
This morning it will be time to say goodbye to your accommodation and drive back to Milan. Drop your car rental off at the Milan Malpensa Airport in time for your flight home.
