French and Spanish Pyrenees Multisport Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Welcome to the Ossau Valley!
Let the adventure begin! When you arrive in the Ossau Valley, you’ll meet with your local guide who will dive into the adventure ahead and provide you with your detailed program in the form of a roadbook.
To warm up, you’ll find yourself in the Anaou plateau, at the foot of the Pic du Midi d’Ossau, for a short hike before reaching the Pombie refuge. You will be expected there, and after the staff welcomes you, you will be able to set up your belongings in the dormitory. Before dinner, take some time to explore the area around the refuge in search of a groundhog or an ermine.
Overnight Location: Pombie refuge
Distance: 2 hours of walking, 350m elevation gain
Meals: Dinner
Day 2 Explore the Pic du Midi d’Ossau
After a good breakfast, your mountain guide will join you at the refuge! You will be happy to be accompanied today, for total comfort and more safety, during this fantastic hike around the Pic du Midi d’Ossau.
After crossing the Col de Peyreget, passing the huts of Cap de Pount, and climbing the wild and very preserved valleys that lead to the lakes of Ayous, you will discover the refuge of Ayous and its breathtaking view of the Pic du Midi d’Ossau.

Distance: 6 hours of walking, 900m elevation gain, 600m negative

Day 3 Superb Canyon Descent in the Gave de Bious
After the second night in the mountains, you will descend to the plain of Bious Artigues where you have two options. If you like horseback riding, take a superb horseback ride of about two hours on a mountain plateau, where you will meet local shepherds in the summer pastures or simply enjoy the chance to ride in these wide open spaces. Otherwise, stroll near the lake of Bious Artigues, a site well known to the inhabitants of Béarn and the Ossau Valley, before your picnic.
At 1 p.m., it will be time to put on your wetsuit and helmet to enjoy a thrilling canyon descent in the Gave de Bious which will take you to the village of Gabas. A shuttle bus will be waiting for you to take you to a hostel in Spain (1/2 hour drive).

Distance: 1000m of descent including 400m in canyoning
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Day 4 Ride between Canyons, Lakes and Aragonese Waterfalls
Today, your adventure kicks off in Aragon, Spain! Your mountain bike instructor will introduce you to the e-bike and the adventure will then begin. Ride between canyons, lakes and Aragonese waterfalls, with exceptional panoramas. That’s the charm of the Pyrenees: breathtaking views over thirty kilometres of trails and mountain tracks!
Overnight Location: Hostel in Spain
Distance: 35km, 500m of ascent
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Day 5 Last Day in Paradise – Stand Up Paddle & Zip Line
After waking up and having breakfast at the hostel, you walk to the lakeside of Sallent de Gallego. There, in the unique morning light that floods the valley and the surrounding peaks, you set off on a stand-up paddle, and enjoy the moment, suspended between the blue of the sky and the emerald green of the lake.
After this enchanted interlude and lunch at the hostel, head to the heights of the village of Hoz de Jaca a few minutes away for the ultimate thrill of this stay of experiences and adventures. Jump hand in hand on the longest double zip line in Europe, and fly over the lake at more than 90km/h!
As the stay comes to an end and you pass by the place where it all started 5 days ago, you will only want to park and leave for a second round!
