Day 2 Introductory Walk in the Picos
The Picos de Europa National Park, a spectacular example of an Atlantic Ecosystem, is yours to discover in the coming days. Its collection of mountains, gorges, meadows, lakes, and rivers comprise an outdoor wonderland full of exciting discoveries and surprises.
Today, you’ll choose from a selection of ten hiking routes provided in your itinerary, giving you a chance to acquaint yourself with this beautiful land as you begin to get a feel for its majesty.

Day 3 River Canyoning Adventure
Today an exciting adventure unfolds on the Deva River. Get ready to explore the mighty canyons of the Picos as you embark on a river canyon adventure as a family. You’ll receive all the necessary gear and instruction, as well as a qualified expert local guide.
The minimum age for the canyoning activity is 8 years old. If travelling with children under the age of 8, an exciting canoeing adventure along the Deva River is available instead.

Day 4 Dairy Visit in Sotres
Say “cheese!” Today, you’ll visit a cheese dairy in the charming village of Sotres (a guided visit can be booked in advance). Here, the dairy’s proprietors, called Quesería Maín, will invite you into their fascinating world of cheese production. You’ll have a chance to see the cheese cave where the famous Cabrales cheese ages and, of course, enjoy delicious tastings of several Asturian kinds of cheese.
