From the Pyrenees to the Sea Itinerary
Day 1 Welcome Meeting and Bike Fitting
You’ll be picked up from the airport and taken to Setcases to begin your tour. Take part in an orientation session to get all the information you’ll need and have your bike fitted to you.
Once you’re all set, enjoy a walk around Setcases, perhaps seeking out some dessert or a glass of wine.

Day 2 Riding through the Pyrenees
Get ready to get going! After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Vallter. You’ll begin riding down for a ski area near the Ter River. Descend alongside the river, stopping in Sant Joan de les Abbesses for lunch and a coffee.
Continuing along the Via Verde del Ferro greenway, you’ll finish your ride in Ripoli, where you should carve out some time to visit the gorgeous Romanesque monastery of Santa Maria de Ripoli.

Day 3 Volcanoes and Hill Climbs to Olot
Today you’ll ride from Ripoli to Sant Joan de les Abadesses, where the unique old town centre beckons for a quick break, which you should take before a few slightly heavier climbs. Crest the Hill of Capascosta, cruising downhill with the satisfaction that the tougher climbs are behind you.
You’ll whiz through forests and past dormant volcanoes to Olot, where you can find a local spot for a tasty dinner.

Day 4 El Carrilet and Village Views
This morning, you’ll head out towards Girona via an old railway track. Cruise through the valley of La Vall d’en Bas, a beautiful verdant corridor known as the “Catalan Switzerland.” Picture-perfect villages dot the valley, and you can dip into any or all of them on the way.
Reconnect with the Ter River, following it all the way into the heart of Girona.

Day 5 Costa Brava and the Mediterranean
Leave the mountains in the rearview as you bike towards the legendary Costa Brava, one of Spain’s most renowned destinations, with dreamy water. white sand, and historic towns dotting the coast for miles. You’ll ride the El Carrilet railway to get there, a great purpose-built pathway that lets you just enjoy the view of the Mediterranean unfolding before you.
Reach Sant Feliu, a pretty port with a rich cultural and historical scene. Your hotel is right in front of the beach, so spend the evening soaking up the beauty of this near-perfect place.

Day 6 Riding along the Mediterranean Coast
It’s all about the ocean today as you ride along the coast, tracing the Palamós Bay. Visit quaint fishing villages like Platja d’Aro, where the catch of the day is irresistible. If you head inland you’ll find the neat rows of vineyards.
Spend tonight in Calella de Palafrugell, an ultra-charming fishing village.

Day 7 Medieval Towns of Costa Brava
After awaking in the spectacular Costa Brava, you’ll ride inland towards Baix Empordà, where the charm of the area’s ancient villages is irresistible. You’re free today to drift between towns, stopping where you please for tapas, a glass of wine, or a chat with a friendly local.
Return to Calella whenever you’re ready.
