Rockies in Style Hiking Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Calgary
Meet your guide and group in the Calgary International Airport, then transfer to Brewster’s Mountain Lodge in Banff, roughly 90 minutes from the airport. Check into your accommodations, then reconvene for a dinner in a local restaurant. Your guide will review the trip ahead and answer any questions.

Day 2 Exploring Banff
It’s an early start to begin the adventure! After breakfast, drive deep into the heart of Banff National Park for your first hike. The guide will select the best route based on the day’s conditions.
A lovely picnic lunch is included on the hike, which shows off the beauty of the Canadian Rockies. Return to Banff at the end of the route. You’ll have the option to stop at the Upper Hot Springs just a few minutes outside town.

Day 3 Horseback Riding Expedition
Enjoy a morning at leisure to explore the town. In the afternoon, meet up with your cowboy guide to embark on a delightful horseback expedition!
Follow routes used by the early settlers who needed their horses to make any progress through the brush. The surrounding wilderness is nothing short of spectacular. Return to Banff on horseback for your final evening in town.

Day 4 The Colours of Lake Louise
After an early breakfast, transfer from Banff to Lake Louise. One of Canada’s most famous natural attractions, the blue-green waters of the lake are simply captivating – a must-see!
Hike up to Lake Agnes and visit the beloved teahouse that sits on its shores. After lunch, if timing permits, visit nearby Lake Moraine with an array of short hikes available. Wrap up the day with a transfer to Golden for your overnight stay.

Day 5 Yoho Adventures
Today’s hike explores Yoho National Park, home to some of Canada’s best waterfalls. Perhaps none are as majestic as the Takakkaw (Cree for “magnificent”) Waterfalls, your first stop on the route. At over 1,000 feet, these are the second-highest falls in all of Canada!
Emerald Lake is another of today’s destinations. This is the largest lake in the park, and its name tells the whole story. Unforgettable vistas accompany your every step as you return to Golden for the night.

Day 6 Roam the Icefields Parkway
A stunning stretch of wilderness awaits today along the Icefields Parkway. This stretch of road connecting Jasper with Lake Louise is one of Canada’s most scenic drives, with innumerable highlights to enjoy. Your guide will provide details on hiking opportunities along the way.
Stop at the Columbia Icefields, the largest of its kind in the Rockies. The mammoth Athabasca Glacier is North America’s most-visited glacier, its edge within easy walking distance. After a day of sightseeing, return to Golden for an evening at leisure.

Day 7 A Day in Kootenay
Your final day of adventure takes place in Kootenay National Park. Your guide will lead you on an outstanding hike through the mountains, with plenty of options to make the most of the day. Bathe in the Radium Hot Springs (safer than it sounds) or even join a thrilling whitewater rafting trip on the Kicking Horse River! Return to Golden for your final evening.
