This is a wonderful 3-day adventure that allows you to go shark diving and explore the beautiful Port Lincoln. You’ll start with a day on your own, where you can explore the stunning Port Lincoln, nestled on the shores of beautiful Boston Bay where you will learn about the city’s discovery, history & stories, while enjoying the tastes of the “Seafood Capital of Australia’.
On your second day, you will experience the ultimate in underwater adventure - Shark Cage Dive. Enjoy a 3-hour boat ride to the Neptune Islands, where you’ll get a chance to observe great white sharks from the boat, and then go underwater in the cage for an up-close encounter.
On the final day, Adventure is a big part of the itinerary, with a thrilling 4WD through massive sand-dunes and finish the day amongst the wildlife, with a happy hour.

Day 1 Arrival at Port Lincoln
Welcome to the Seafood Capital of Australia, Port Lincoln! Please check-in and wander along the foreshore of Port Lincoln. At your own expense, you can dine at one of the many close restaurants.

Day 2 Shark Cage Diving
You’re up bright and early for one of the most extreme and exhilarating ocean interactions with the world’s most feared predator of the sea! Honed by millions of years of evolution, the Great White Shark is one have the most graceful and awe-inspiring fish in the ocean. Absolutely nothing will prepare you for the unique experience on your first encounter with this magnificent specimen in its natural environment.
For your Shark Dive, you are required to board the Shark Cage Dive Vessel by 6.30am on the date of your dive from the pontoon in the Port Lincoln Marina. Early morning snacks for breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are prepared on board. Your day will conclude around 7.00-7.30pm that evening.
The home of the Great Whites is out at the Neptune Islands and the 2.5 to 3hour trip is often accompanied by pods of dolphins cruising by with lots of running commentary by the staff on board the shark diving vessel. Once at the Islands, the action begins as sharks up to 18ft emerge from the depths.
Everyone gets the opportunity to dive in the shark proof cage to eyeball these monsters face to face. The view from the deck and fly bridge is just as incredible! The cage is lowered to about surface level and the diver is only submerged 2-3 feet below the surface with divers breathing through regulator and airline attached via a hookah system onboard the boat.
There are videos, live streaming from inside the cage on the galley big screens, books, history, and memorabilia all on board to keep everyone amused and if the day does get the better of guests, then there are always plenty of bunks to have a “nanna nap” to reinvigorate for the day ahead! All diving equipment is supplied and no prior diving experience is necessary!
Return transfers provided back to the Port Lincoln Hotel. After a big day on the water, the evening is yours to enjoy.

Day 3 Port Lincoln Tour
Start your day by taking in the breathtaking 360-degree views of the city, Boston Island, Boston Bay, and Port Lincoln National Park. Afterwards, visit Flinders Ports Wharf, South Australia’s main grain exporting plant, where millions of tonnes of cargo, including fresh seafood, are moved through the wharf. Explore Lincoln Marina, home to the largest fishing fleet in the Southern Hemisphere, and discover the diverse fishing industries and vessels that make Port Lincoln the ‘Seafood Capital of Australia.’ Later, visit Lincoln National Park, with its stunning coastline, massive sand dunes, and secluded beaches perfect for 4WD adventures, sandboarding, and hiking. Encounter koalas in their natural habitat at Mikkira Station, where kangaroos, emus, and rare bird species also reside. Indulge in a gourmet seafood picnic lunch and unwind while surrounded by the tranquility of nature. Conclude your memorable day with a transfer to the airport for your return flight to Adelaide, cherishing the unforgettable experiences and coastal treasures of Port Lincoln.

This tour is always run as a shared departure where you will be joining an existing group for the activities. Standard departures are every Monday. In some cases, the departures may be available on other weekdays (please enquire about the availability). The prices below are per person, sharing a double or a triple room:- Adult price: AUD1470 per person
