Silk Road Guided Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Travel from Fergana to Margilan
Arrive at midday in Fergana, where you will be met and transfer to your hotel. Then, drive to Margilan (25km away) and visit a silk factory. You will be able to see the process of handmade silk production and buy original silk products of superb quality. Transfer back to Fergana, where a city tour awaits.

Day 2 Visit Oltiarik, Richtan, Kokand, Tashkent
Prepare for a big exploring day ahead! First, you’ll transfer to Oltiarik, spotting villages and rich agriculture with extensive gardens of fruits, vegetables, and grapes en route. Spend time at a cotton field! Then, travel to Richtan to catch a glimpse of ceramists. Enjoy lunch at the studio! After, continue travelling to Kokand, where the famous Khan Khoudayar Palace awaits. Visit the Juma Mosque after! Continue to your final destination of the day afterward: Tashkent. Check into accommodation before enjoying a walking tour at night!

Day 3 Discover the old Tashkent

Day 4 Travel to Samarkand
Today may be a travel day, but it still promises incredible entertainment. The drive to Samarkand takes around 4.5 hours, but you’ll pass picturesque imagery en route. Pass by the Syr Darya River, Jizzakh, and rural and mountain landscapes. Enjoy lunch upon your arrival in Samarkand. Then, start sightseeing! Some highlights (of the many) include Ulughbek Observatory, checking out the potters, the architectural complex, and the silk paper factory.

Day 5 Explore more of Samarkand
Get ready to explore more of Samarkand today! After breakfast, you’ll head to Registan Square for more must-sees of the city. Work up an appetite before enjoying lunch with a local red dry wine. Partake in a cooking course! Spend time at your leisure in the evening. Later on, after a dinner of your choice, you’ll discover “Samarkand by night” on a bus.

Day 6 Travel to Bukhara
Enjoy an early breakfast before departing to Shakhrisabz (2-hour drive) via a mountain road. Stop a few times en route to revel in the gorgeous landscapes. Go on a city tour around Shakhrisabz once you arrive! Discover ruins of Ak-Saray Palace, Dorut Tillavat complex: Gumbazi-Sayidon, Kok Gumbaz Mosque, Dor-ut Saodat complex: Khazrati Imam Mosque, Jahongir mausoleum, and walking in oriental bazaar. Replenish your depleted energy levels with lunch! Then, depart to Bukhara (4 hours away). Hit up a dinner place on your own!

Day 7 Explore Bukhara

Day 9 Travel to Khiva

Day 10 Discover Khiva
