Day 3 Bagheria and Capo Zafferano by bike
Today, we’ll embark on a full-day biking excursion around Palermo’s picturesque surroundings. Our journey starts in the city center and takes us along the charming seafront of Aspra, known for its ancient traditions. We’ll pause to explore the lively fish market and visit the Anchovy Museum for a taste of Sicilian maritime culture. Continuing along the coast, we’ll admire the scenic Capo Zafferano promontory before heading back to Palermo, passing by the beautiful villas of Bagheria.

Day 4 Cycle to Monreale and Piana degli Albanesi
After breakfast, we’ll be whisked away by private transfer to the magnificent Monreale. While exploring the grand Duomo, our bikes will be readied for our next adventure. We’ll pedal towards the bilingual community of Piana degli Albanesi, immersing ourselves in the charm of Hora and Arbëreshëvet in arbëreshë. Nestled in the Palermo mountains, we’ll indulge in the renowned cannoli paired with sweet wine and discover the unique Sicilian artisans preserving the Byzantine gold tradition.
Our journey continues downhill along the panoramic former via ferrata, offering stunning views of the Conca d’Oro of Palermo, until we reach Monreale again. We’ll conclude our day’s exploration with a transfer back to Palermo for our final overnight stay.
