Trekking in Yukon’s Tombstone Park Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Dawson City
Meet up with your guide at the Dawson City Airport, check into your hotel, and discuss the itinerary for your upcoming journey through Tombstone Territorial Park. Spend some time exploring Dawson City before resting up for your trek through Canada’s wilderness.

Day 2 Dempster Highway & Tombstone Park
After breakfast, journey up the Dempster Highway by van to Tombstone Territorial Park. Warm-up your body for the treks ahead by starting with a two to five-hour jaunt up Goldensides Mountain. Admire the remarkable view of the arctic tundra sweeping the land below. Set up your tent and enjoy a night amid nature at Tombstone Campground.

Day 3 Grizzly Lake
Start the day by filling your body with a tasty breakfast before embarking on a six to 11-hour trek deep into Canada’s backyard. Today’s hike may be the longest, but the views from the North Ridge, along Grizzly Creek Valley, will force you to forget of any tiredness. After hiking the ridge, descend towards Grizzly Lake and set up camp.

Day 4 Glissade Pass & Divide Lake
Consume breakfast before setting off to your next wild camping spot. Be sure to admire the mountains reflecting in Grizzly Lake in the crisp morning light before you go. As you make your way to Divide Lake, you will walk through the undulating trail spanning Glissade Pass. Be prepared for super steep descents on today’s trek! Reach Divide Lake, where the dramatic, rocky face of Mount Monolith stands, creating a wonderland of mysticality, after six to eight hours of hiking.

Day 5 Mount Monolith
Wake up to blissful natural sounds and prepare for another day of getting to know Canada’s wild side on foot. A combination of weather conditions and group abilities will decide whether you head north of Mount Monolith or hike south to a quaint lake. Either way, spend the day admiring the warm autumn hues and valleys and lakes cradled by the staggering collection of mountains.

Day 6 Tombstone Territorial Park
Today, you will head back to the trailhead, encountering new, remarkable views en route. You will also retrace some of the trails you’ve walked the last few days. Enjoy a drive back to where this outdoor expedition began: Tombstone Campground.

Day 7 Dawson City
After breakfast, hop back in the van and drive back to Dawson City. Travel back in time on an informative tour detailing the gold rush that attracted numerous gold seekers, turning this northern city into the land of milk and honey in the late 19th century. Visit Canada’s oldest casino—Diamond Tooth Gerties Gambling Hall—in the evening. Spend the night relaxing at a hotel in Dawson City.

Accommodation on Trekking in Yukon’s Tombstone Park Tour
This tour will have you staying in a combination of hotels and campsites. Expect to stay in two or three-star hotels, which come equipped with necessary, comfortable amenities. Keep in mind that you will stay with another member of the tour in a room at the hotels. Feel free to upgrade to single occupancy for an additional fee.
Throughout your trek, you will spend five nights at established campsites and wild camping in a shared tent. You can always upgrade to a single tent for an additional fee.
Please note that the hotels listed below may need to be swapped for other similar accommodations.
