Turkey’s Turquoise Coast Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival
Begin your tour of Turkey’s Turquoise Coast with a pick-up and ride to Gocek. You can take a walk of this relaxed little town, take a swim, and appreciate the atmosphere as you settle in. You’ll be sleeping on a boat for the duration of the tour, so an inaugural evening sailing might be in order!

Day 2 Sail to Batik Mamam and Visit Lydae
Start the day off with a boat cruise to Natik Hamam (the Sunken Bath) cove 5 feet below the ground, where Mark Antony is rumoured to have wooed Cleopatra. From here, take a stroll through the pine forests with views of the shimmering blue Mediterranean peeking through. You’ll visit the site of Lydae, only accessible by foot, before descending back down to the boat for the evening.

Day 3 Ghost Town of Kaya and Hike to Soguksu Cove
Begin the day with a bus ride to the Greek ghost town of Kaya. Kaya was abandoned in the 1930s during the population exchange treaty between Greece and Turkey, and the remaining structures are Greek-style and eerily abandoned.
Once you’re done exploring, you’ll hike back down to the boat in Soguksu Cove. If you’re keen for more, you can hike on Gemiler Island, where you’ll watch the sunset over Byzantine ruins.

Day 4 Central Lycia and Kas
After breakfast, cruise over to Kalkan, where you’ll enjoy a driving tour of some of central Lycia’s highlights, including Patara, the home of the Lycian Parliament House, and Xhanthos, an impressive ancient site.
Wrap up the day in Kas, a charming little down where you might fancy an introduction to the nightlife before bed.

Day 5 Kekova Sound Cruise and Snorkelling
Soak up the sun today, snorkelling in the warm sea over the sunken ruins of Aperlai. Out of the water, you’ll cruise through Kekova Sound, where you can peer over the edge of the boat and see 2000 year old ruins under the surface.
You’ll toss the anchor in a quiet cove and fall asleep to the rocking of the boat.

Day 6 Kayaking and Citadel Hike
Make the absolute most of your last full day on the Turquoise Coast with a sea kayaking expedition over the sunken ruins of Kekova Island and a visit to the shipyard cove. Paddle at your own pace through the water, letting the sea breeze cool you and the sun kiss your face.
Dried off, you’ll hike up the Citadel of Crusaders on the acropolis of Simena. You won’t believe the sight of the sunset from atop your mighty tower- soak it all in!

Day 7 Departure
