Day 1 Arrival in Marciana Marina
Your walking tour of Elba Island begins with a ferry ride across the emerald waters of the Mediterranean Sea to Marciana Marina. Relax at the seaside with a Tuscan dinner to prepare for tomorrow’s adventure.

Day 2 Marciana & Madonna del Monte
The first full day of your walking tour starts with a choice: you can either take an easy walk to Monte Capanne, the highest point of Elba Island, and a great spot for birds-eye views of the island. Or, you can hike up the Monte Capanne ridge to the most important chapel on Elba, the Madonna del Monte Santuario. After exploring the church, enjoy a relaxed, shaded walk home.

Day 3 San Piero in Campo loop

In the afternoon, a transfer from San Piero in Campo takes you to the sublime fishing village of Marina di Campo. Enjoy resting your feet on the sandy beach and inhaling the scent of the pine forest behind you.

The best airports to arrive at are Florence (FLR) or Pisa (PSA). From FLR, take the direct bus to Santa Maria Novella train station and take a train to Piombino Marittima. You will need to change trains in Pisa Central and occasionally also in Campiglia Marittima. Once in Piombino Marittima, choose any of the ferries to Portoferraio.
From Pisa, take the Red Line city bus to Pisa Centrale. Here, take the train to Piombino Marittima. You may have to change trains in Campiglia Marittima. Once in Piombino Marittima, choose any of the ferries to Portoferraio.
