Day 1 Arrival in Vercors
Arriving in the afternoon or in the evening, you will be able to check into your hotel in Lans en Vercors to prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2 Hike Lans en Vercors to Autrans
The first real day of hiking on the tour will see you experience the Vercors North Ridges, the pas de Bellecombe, and the Ps de l’Ours. From the Molière pasture, you will enjoy spectacular views of nearby mountains, including the Mont Blanc massif. After that you will descend to Autrans.

Day 3 Hike Autrans to Rencurel
Today you will leave Autrans behind and make your way to the Pertuzon Pass, following the GR that will lead you to the charming village of Rencurel.

Day 4 From Rencurel to Pont en Royans (or Choranche)
Day 4 of the tour will see you explore the route through Ranc and the Choranche caves for a remarkable day featuring beautiful landscapes, the horanche waterfalls, and a unique cave adorned with stalactites. Proceed to Pont en Royans with its suspended houses over the Bourne. An alternative path, “Au fil de la Bourne,” follows the splendid Gorges of the Bourne.

Day 6 Transfer and Hike to Bois Barbu
Day 6 involves another short transfer to Saint Martin en Vercors. You will make your way to Bois Barbu, above Villard de Lans by the pass of St Martin, the valley of Herbouilly, and the village of Valchevrière.

Day 7 Bois Barbu to Lans en Vercors
After another brief transfer to the “Conversaria” site above Villard de Lans, you will reach Lans en Vercors via the Sentier Gobert path, passing through the Col Vert and optionally the St Michel Peak. This scenic “ecological path” showcases North Vercors’ distinctive flora, offering a balcony view of the Villard valley. The accessible Col de l’Arc pass provides a beautiful panorama of Belledone and Oisans, while the St Michel Peak boasts the summit of Vercors, providing breathtaking views of the Alps and North Vercors.
