Vietnam Multisport and Culture Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Hanoi Arrival
Welcome to Vietnam! After obtaining your visa and collecting your luggage, the guide will lead the way to your awaiting driver. You will be privately transferred to your accommodations. Stay right in the heart of the city next to the central Hoan Kiem lake. With the fascinating Old Quarter right at your fingertips, you can easily explore the city at your own pace.

Day 2 Ba Vi Eco Tour
Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel, then head out to the countryside located at the outskirts of Hanoi. Arriving at a local house, you will be welcomed with fresh honey tea and green lentils or lotus seeds that were made by a local family. You will visit a tea plantation, which is one of the largest in Ri village, and join with locals in green tea processing. Afterward, have a Vietnamese cooking demonstration with another local host and then enjoy a home cooked lunch in a lovely garden. Head back to Hanoi to end the night.

Day 3 Bike Tour in the Countryside and Boat Ride to Van Long Natural Reserve
This morning, you’ll head to Ninh Binh Province to get on a bike and visit local villages, temples and local markets nearby. Stopover in the Cau Vang Hamlet for farming activities in which you can catch crab, go fishing, or enjoy once in a lifetime experience transplanting rice, seeding, scooping water, and harvesting (depending on the season).
Enjoy lunchtime in a local ancient house. After that, take a visit to “Cat Scratch” mountain where you can see the world-red-book animal, Delacour’s langurs. Later, you depart to Van Long Wharf to embark on a boat trip to Van Long Nature Reserve which is renowned as the largest wetland of Northern Vietnam.
A 90-minute rowboat ride will allow you to take in the picturesque landscapes of this diversified and unique ecological system and have a chance to see many types of animals living here. On the way, you can spot limestone mountains and stunning caves. The water here is so clear that you can look through to the moss on the bottom. After the boat trip, you’ll be transferred back to Hanoi.

Day 4 Ha Long Bay Cruise
Today you will discover the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay. Board a traditional Vietnamese junk boat and cruise into the bay. Admire the breathtaking scenery en route to Cua Van, one of the last remaining floating fishing villages in the bay. Take a closer look on a small bamboo boat.
You can rent a kayak, go for swims, meet the fishermen, and enjoy the bay all day long. Enjoy dinner aboard the boat and some downtime, or you can try squid fishing with the boat staff.

Day 5 Back to Hanoi and Fly to Hue
Rise early for a lesson in Tai Chi or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the main harbor and Hanoi. Fly to Hue this afternoon.

Day 6 Hue Visit by Cyclo
Today’s tour starts with your cyclo driver and guide picking you up at your hotel. Pass through the south of Huong River and tour around the new Hue city. You’ll visit the Imperial Citadel where the former kings of Vietnam’s last feudal dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945, including Flag Tower, Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Place, Nine Dynastic Urns, and more. You’ll continue the cyclo tour to discover the rest of old Hue city. After this, your tour ends back at your hotel.

Day 7 Transfer to Hoi An
After picking you up from your hotel, a private car with a driver will drive along coastal roads passing towns, villages, and beaches, with numerous stops on the way to enjoy breathtaking scenery and experience the local life. The most fantastic place to take photos is at the top of Hai Van Pass where you will have the chance to pass through the clouds. Visit The Ghost City of An Bang. You may have lunch at a local restaurant by the sea or a picnic lunch with a nice view.

Day 8 Hoi An Eco Tour
Today your guide will meet you at the hotel and take you for a cycling trip to the countryside and rivers around Hoi An. As you meander through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. After that, you will board the Hoi An Eco-Tour boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen. Enjoy a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing.
After that, you will take a paddle boat trip in a unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat down the waterways of a coconut palm paradise. Then have lunch, after which you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 9 Flight to Ho Chi Minh City
Have breakfast at the hotel and time to relax before boarding a flight from Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City’s center.

Day 10 Cu Chi Tunnel
Have breakfast at the hotel and depart for Cu Chi tunnels. The trip will take approximately one and a half hours drive. Upon arrival, you will have a short introduction followed by an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed, and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of wartime.
Then, spend your time exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems, which included the living areas, kitchens, and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. All this was to help people living inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war. Afterwards, special tea and cassava (guerilla food during the war) will be served.
