Walking Bohemian Paradise Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival
Your tour begins in Jičín, one of the prettiest towns in the Czech Republic. You can either take the train or book a transfer as a supplement if you’re flying into Prague.
Walk up to the Wallenstein tower or spend some time exploring the local museum inside a grand chateau. Tonight, settle in at the hotel and enjoy your first night here.

Day 2 Prachovské Skály Rocks
Cross rugged, undulating terrain today, heading towards the interesting rocky Prachovské Skály area. A steep basalt hill leads you up to a collection of tall sandstone rock towers that have been featured in a few movies. Snap some photos in this dramatic area before heading to your hotel for the evening.

Day 3 Walk to Sobotka
Enjoy breakfast and coffee before setting out for your second walk. The terrain will be easy to navigate and truly stunning. You’ll walk to the rock ruins of Pařez, where the Trosky castle can be seen in the distance. Continue to the village of Sobotka, where another small castle is waiting to be explored.

Day 4 Enchanting Valleys to Hrubá Skála
This morning, head out along gently rolling terrain, crossing through lovely valleys with great views of the surrounding castles and countryside. Walk through a typical Czech village, then continue along the trail to an impressive medieval castle.
Your hotel is in a former chateau and has an excellent view.

Day 5 Hrubá Skála to Malá Skála
Rise in your fancy chateau and prepare for today’s walk, which starts out along hilly terrain flanked by 97 million year old rock formations. Ruins and old buildings pass as you approach your hotel, which has an unbeatable view of the Jizera River and the surrounding valley. Continue past your hotel to a wooden farmstead near an ancient castle, then loop back and find a good spot for dinner.

Day 6 Exploring Around Malá Skála
Loop around Malá Skála, beginning with an easy climb that evens out to follow a river. The unique rocky landscape is perfect to linger around and explore, so take your time. Once you’re done, loop back into town and enjoy dinner at a restaurant of your choosing to celebrate your adventure.
